Spotted Bass World Record

Spotted Bass World Record

Paul Bailey and Matt Newman set out to chase new personal best spotted bass in California. After fishing for a few hours it didn’t take them long to get into a good spotted bass bite. After catching four, six, and eight pound bass most people would have called it a day until Paul Bailey hooked into agiant. After fighting this spotted bass with his rod doubled over Paul caught an 11.4 pound spotted bass! The fish was weighed on 3 different scales, but due to the guidelines of a world record the fish is unofficially the spotted bass world record because it was weighed on water instead of land. Paul still seemed to be pretty happy. He still had proof and video after all!
