Two 9 Pound Largemouth Bass on 10″ Swimbait

Two 9 Pound Largemouth Bass on 10″ Swimbait

A trip that our our co owner and marketing director of Undercover Sportsman Westin Yancey will always remember.

Wes recently took a trip down to Austin, Texas to fish with Oliver Ngy of Big Bass Dreams in pursuit of the catch of a lifetime. He spent most of his first day throwing big swimbaits around trying to entice a bass to bite with not much luck. On day two they went all in and tied on a Megabass 10 inch Magdraft swimbait that only the big girls would bite. After throwing it around for a good part of the day Wes finally hooked up! After landing the fish in the boat they realized this fish had almost been caught before. There was a circle hook still stuck in the top of its mouth (make sure you tie the right fishing knots.). If anyone knows Wes he gets more than excited when he catches a fish. His day and week was made. After all the excitement every went back to fishing since there was still plenty of sunlight left. Wes continued to throw his Magdraft everywhere he could. It didn’t take long before another big girl was on the end line. With four people on the boat you can’t help, but feel for the other guys as he caught not one, but two 9 pound largemouth bass that nobody in their right mind could ever forget. The best thing about it all is Oliver and Wes make sure they don’t miss a beat with the camera angles and footage for you to enjoy.

Want to have a chance at the catch of a lifetime. You can book trips with Oliver at www.oliverngy.com. He is currently guiding and giving personal sessions around the biggest and best big bass waters in Texas.
